INFANT BAPTISM {A form of Intercession by desire for the young}.

Acts 2:38-39  “You must repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of the Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and your children….”

Col 2:11-12   Here St Paul also speaks of baptism as replacing circumcision. But Jews were almost always circumcised as infants. Now if babies could be brought into the old Covenant, then why not into the new.

How can you say infants are incapable of receiving baptism when John the Baptist danced for joy by the greetings of Mary to Elizabeth .as inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is the same Holy Spirit acting in the Baptism. Was Judas not even an Apostle yet fell away. How can someone criticize the Work of God in Baptism because the one who received it sins a lot like others. Actually Judas did worse by participation in deicide, but this does not nullify the grace of God’s favour in Judas.

Infants are most disposed to Baptism 1 Corinthians 14: 20…. ‘: be infants in evil’ . Who is then fit to deny this class of people who are more alive in the spirit and so are OUR MODELS FOR WHOEVER WANTS TO GROW IN THE GRACE OF GOD. BAPTISM GIVES US THE GRACE OF GOD TO BE ALIVE IN THE LORD.

Matthew 19: 13 Then children were brought to Him that He might lay His hands on them and pray. {Would someone say that baptism is not bringing someone to Jesus that He might touch them???}

Matthew 19:14, “Let the little children come to me, and do not try to stop them, for to such as these belongs the kingdom of heaven.”

Luke 18:16,  But Jesus called them to Him, saying “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them; for such belongs the kingdom of God.

Luke 18:17 Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.”

Why would someone refuse children the things of God to the Children even though they are more fit for the things of God. Unless you become like little children you cannot enter heaven {Matthew 18:3}.

Mt 8: 5ff servant healed because of centurion’s faith

Mt 15:21ff –daughter healed because of Canaanite’s woman’s faith

Mark 10:14 when Jesus saw this, He was indignant. He said to them, let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

Acts 16:31 believe in Lord Jesus you  & household will be saved

Acts 16:15 –The apostle Paul mentions that he baptized Lydia “and all her household”

Acts 16:33 –and the jailer was baptized “and his whole family”  at once

1Cor 1:16-I baptized the household of Stephanas

Luke 7:1 f  -Just say the Word, and let my servant be healed

Luke 18: 15 People were bringing even infants to Him

Col 2: 11-12 Baptism has replaced circumcision

1 Cor 15:21-22 in Adam all die, in Christ all made alive

John 3:5  “Unless one is born again of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Mk 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

Jos 24:15 as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord

If ordinarily baptism is necessary for salvation why would anyone preclude children after the eighth day of birth from baptism since circumcision was done on the eighth day after birth

Intercession for the dead and vice versa

John 12 :24

Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.

How can someone say you cannot do what Jesus did as a Priest ??????

 John 14:12  “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I go to the Father…..

The dead are living with God if saved/ Intercession  {That is how we build up charity in the Body (Living  on earth & the Deadof Christ even when we don’t physically see each other}

Rev. 5:8 And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints:…..

Rev. 5:10. and have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on earth.’’

Rev. 8.:3   And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer: and he was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar before the throne ;

Rev. 8: 4    and the smoke of the incense rose with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the anger before God.

Rev. 8:5    Then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it on the earth;

James 5:16   Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of the righteous man has great power in its effects.    {Knowing someone’s sins signals a call to prayer.}

 Priesthood Important for Spiritual Worship to God

 I have not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it. Why would someone not believe in priesthood for all time on earth by other people validly ordained.

Exodus 19:6 and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.

 Rev. 5:10   And have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on earth

1 Sam 12: 23  Moreover as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by ceasing to pray for you; and I will instruct you in the good and the right way.  (Preists pray for us)

Isaiah 61:6

But you shall be called the Priests of the LORD, men shall speak of you as the ministers of our God.

1 Peter 2: 4 Come to Him, to that living stone, rejected by men but in God’s sight chosen and precious,

1 Peter 2:5 and like living stones be yourselves built into a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people, that you may declare the wonderful deeds of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

1 Peter 2:10 Once you were no people but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy but now you have received mercy.

How can a Priest (Jesus) bring about the Last Supper and you say it is not associated to the Priesthood of Christ? Did you not know that everything Jesus did is associated to him by reason of His Priesthood.  FOR THIS HE WAS BORN AND FOR THIS HE LIVED AND FOR THIS HE PREACH, AND FOR THIS HE DIED.

The devil makes error to resemble TRUTH. That is the great work of the DEVIL to lead people away to lower themselves for want of the worldly things. Eg Marriage over celibacy Though they are both good but Celibacy is higher.

Kel Maleh Rachamim – Prayer for the Soul of the Departed

By Zalman Goldstein

For a Man:

O G‑d, full of compassion, Who dwells on high, grant true rest upon the wings of the Shechinah (Divine Presence), in the exalted spheres of the holy and pure, who shine as the resplendence of the firmament, to the soul of

(mention his Hebrew name and that of his father)

who has gone to his [supernal] world, for charity has been donated in remembrance of his soul; may his place of rest be in Gan Eden. Therefore, may the All-Merciful One shelter him with the cover of His wings forever, and bind his soul in the bond of life. The Lord is his heritage; may he rest in his resting-place in peace; and let us say: Amen.

For a Woman:

O G‑d, full of compassion, Who dwells on high, grant true rest upon the wings of the Shechinah (Divine Presence), in the exalted spheres of the holy and pure, who shine as the resplendence of the firmament, to the soul of

(mention her Hebrew name and that of her father)

who has gone to her [supernal] world, for charity has been donated in remembrance of her soul; may her place of rest be in Gan Eden. Therefore, may the All-Merciful One shelter her with the cover of His wings forever, and bind her soul in the bond of life. The Lord is her heritage; may she rest in her resting-place in peace; and let us say: Amen.
